Aftercare Instructions
Tattoo
Taking care of your new tattoo is super important to ensure it heals beautifully. Here’s what you need to know:
For the Next 2 Weeks
Avoid: Swimming, hot tubs, saunas, and baths (showers are fine).
Protect: Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight.
Don’t Submerge: Avoid soaking your tattoo in water.
If You’re Using Recovery Derm
Leave the Recovery Derm on for 5-7 days. If it becomes irritating, remove it by running warm water over the area or while in a warm shower.
Wash the tattoo gently with fragrance-free, dye-free antibacterial soap (we recommend Dial Gold).
After removing the Recovery Derm, apply a fragrance-free lotion like Hustle Butter or Aquaphor to keep your tattoo moisturized until it’s fully healed.
If You’re Not Using Recovery Derm
Keep your tattoo bandaged for 2 hours.
Remove the bandage carefully, wash the area with mild soap and cool water, then gently dry.
Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free lotion 2-4 times daily for at least 3 days. Avoid re-bandaging the tattoo.
Protect it from sunburn, salt or chlorine water, and hot tubs until it’s fully healed.
Important Notes:
If mild scabbing occurs, don’t pick at it—let it fall off naturally.
Keep the area hydrated with lotion to reduce flaking.
Seek medical attention if the tattoo site becomes infected, painful, or if you develop a fever.

Piercing
Aftercare
I recommend saline solution for your piercings. No rubbing alcohol, no peroxide, no soap directly on them.
You’ll have enough soap on them during a shower I suggest not putting anything on your new piercings that you wouldn’t put in your eyes or your mouth.
Last few minutes of a shower make sure to rinse your piercings very well, if there’s any build up on them try to use the shower pressure to clean it off.
After a shower give a quick spray with saline, and I recommend a hair dryer on a low, cool setting to dry them fully.
Keeping your hands off of your new piercing is the hardest part.
Do not touch them, do not rotate them.
Your body wants to heal, so let it do it’s thing.
If you have any questions, or concerns, just send us a message.
As a piercer who has been doing this for a while, I get used to a lot of the small issues that you may not be. Send us any concerns you have and we will get back to you, and help ease the panic.
One important thing to remember is don’t listen to your friends, or family that pierced themselves with a sewing needle and a potato.
Any questions or issues just reach out to us and we’ll get back to you ASAP
Thanks all!
